It has been neat to follow politics as married, working Americans. We like to think of ourselves as old and wise, but we are working on just being knowledgeable first and foremost. It was neat to have the Democratic National Convention here in Denver. We rode our bikes down to the city on the night of Obama's speech and saw first-hand the chaos that goes into these conventions. We even got our picture taken while standing on Denver's busiest highway I-25 while it was completely closed. As history would have it, we won't see the DNC back for another 100 years.
